Leg Extensions

The hunting fanatics at Rugged Ridge Outdoor Gear wanted to take this requirement to the next level.  Understanding that not all long range shots can be taken from the prone position, we set out to create a simplistic lightweight leg extension accessory to enhance an already elite deadly shooting platform.

Our 17.5″ carbon fiber leg extensions have allowed our customers to gain the versatility of shooting from the seated position while still utilizing all of the Extreme Pod Bipods incredible features.   Sitting in waist high sage brush as light breaks the ridge? Simply screw on the ultra light extensions onto the bottom of the existing leg and wait for the buck of a lifetime to show himself for a rock solid shot.  Leave the legs attached or tuck them away in your pack.  The option is yours and let’s face it, options are what we demand.

Feet Replacement

Whether you want to replace your original claw feet or swap out to some smooth feet for more flat or bench shooting, our feet replacements can be purchased. These replacement feet only fit out Gen 2 and Gen 3 bipods. Made out of aluminum and weight less than an ounce.

Universal Picatinny Rail Mount

The Extreme Pod Bipod requires an industry standard picatinny rail, as a fastening point.  As a means of improving our customer’s experience, Rugged Ridge Outdoor Gear now offers its own picatinny rail mounting system.  Much like many of the other mounts available on the market, our rail is precision machined to standard specifications with additional features that allow it to be attached universally, on almost any hunting rifle stock configuration.  Each Rugged Ridge Outdoor Gear Picatinny Mount comes with a generic hardware kit.

★★★★★

This is the second rail I have purchased, this one is headed for my 300 WSM, so I can use my Extreme Pod and leg extensions in Mexico in January! They are simple to install and function flawlessly!
